Meraki, an Indian not-for-profit, works with parents surviving under $5 per day. In order to fulfill child's innate potential, Meraki’s intervention equips low-income parents to act early and take command of their child’s early development and learning. Meraki simplifies contemporary scientific knowledge - typically inaccessible to parents - into actionable, 10-minute activities to conduct with children, in order to facilitate their child’s development. Meraki believes that this is a big step towards having a better chance of successfully transitioning, adjusting and being successful in formal schools (and thereby improving educational outcomes).
